| I'm obviously looking for a new car!
So, if you know of one within $4,000 and with good mileage, let me know!
| | |
| I'm going through so many emotions right now....
I was in a car accident last night and I'm really frustrated, yet at peace. God is merciful, is He not?!
I'm okay- bruised up, but okay. My car isn't okay though.

hmmmmm.....
So many decisions in life....
So much pressure...
Pressure?! Why pressure?
I suppose it's because it's our nature to compare- therefor we have created the idealistic lifestyle that defines success by wealth, materialism and love and when we do not have the best of those three things, then we look at ourselves as nothing and we feel the pressure to become "somebody with great things".
PSH.
What this world defines as success is NEVER going to satisfy -let me tell ya! The things of this life are fading, so we are ALWAYS striving to improve our lifestyle with whatever we can that is within our reach.
The thing is, all of our desire is to be quenched by an unseen, untouched reality and when we have a taste of it, we are ruined.
Our flesh starts to kick and scream because this unseen reality does not satisfy our fading flesh as materialism does!!! Our eternal spirit connects with the eternal reality therefor creating a HUGE conflict between the fading flesh (which is what we humans are) and the eternal spirit (which is Christ in us).
So the battle begins.
Thankfully, Jesus Christ and the renewing of our mind in his word helps our eternal spirit become strong. We become desperate for the eternal reality that will truly satisfy us and as the Lord sees our heart, he will open our eyes and show us that we are complete in him and we are no longer obligated to strive after the fading things of this world.
Success is becoming one with Jesus Christ
That is reality.
